Read this Use Terms Page Before Taking any Pictures from these Galleries

Before you can use photographs from these galleries, you must meet the following simple requirements.

1. You are paying for non-exclusive, non-transferable rights to use the photographs is these galleries.  All these pictures are available to you royalty free.  The membership option entitles you to unlimited picture downloads for a year.  Once downloaded, a picture may be used indefinitely and in multiple applications.  Or if you ordered a CD or pictures in the large format these may be used indefinitely and in multiple applications.    
    

2. We require that you put a simple copyright notice on your work to protect yourself and us.  This will assure that no one else can legally take these pictures and sell or use them.  This notice should read "(C) 2004 Your Name."  A simple example of a multi-year copyright notice is shown near the bottom of this page.
   

3. You may only take pictures with a JPG extension in their file name.  This is basically photographs in these galleries and their thumbnails.  Animated graphics with GIF extensions in their file names are not for sale and may never be taken without special permission.
   

4. You are not allowed to give away any photographs obtained from this site.  There are legal obligations associated with these pictures.  We require all who use these pictures to know and agree to the terms and conditions on this "Use Terms" page.      
   

5. You are not to sell these pictures for profit.  However, you may use them in other commercial activities like on websites, in reports, publications, ads, and presentations, as long as the purpose of these activities is not to sell the pictures and the other "Use Terms" specified within this page are not violated.  
   

6. Carefully read section on model and property releases prior to using these pictures.  Some of these photographs are strictly prohibited from commercial purposes.  Failure to comply with release restrictions may result in one or multiple lawsuits against you.
   

7. Pictures of people may only be used for wholesome purposes.  They are not be placed on any websites, reports or publications that contain adult, occult, gambling, hate, or illegal content.  
   

8. For websites we request that you put a link back to www.digital-picture-gallery.com in your site.  You may also, or alternatively put picture credits in the the picture titles that link back to www.digital-picture-gallery.com.
   

9. When "you" is used in these terms it also applies to your company if these picture are being used for commercial purposes.  If a company purchases a year's membership it applies to use by only one person within the company.  For instance if five people in your company want to use the membership site, then five memberships should be paid for.
